Anna Baltzer
Anna Baltzer is an American public speaker, author, and activist for Palestinian human rights. She has been deeply involved in advocating for the rights of Palestinians and shedding light on their living conditions. Her journey began when she visited Israel on a free birthright trip in January 2000, where she initially saw a “beautiful picture of Israel” but was unaware of the hardships faced by Palestinians.
In her documentary, “Life in Occupied Palestine,” Anna vividly describes the situation, and stresses that rather than being a “religious conflict,” it is in fact, a conflict about “water, land, and resources."
More recently, there are growing concerns on Israel’s alleged plans for Gaza’s gas reserves, which shows a pattern of not only continued oppression, but also the procurement, or control of resources.
